For a century, the United Way of Danville Area has brought neighbors together to improve lives across Vermilion County, Illinois, and Fountain and Warren Counties in Indiana.
This year, as we approach our 100-year milestone in 2027, we invite you to join us in something transformative: Beyond 100 Together, our special Endowment Campaign. With a goal of $2 million, we're building a permanent fund that will carry United Way's mission forward for the next 100 years and beyond.
The Next Century: Our Focus & Vision
As we complete our strategic plan, we’re looking ahead to what our community will need in the next century. Our endowment campaign will help sustain this work for generations to come, while our focus grows to include programs that support people across every stage of life. Together, we can meet today’s needs and build a stronger future for those who come after us.

At United Way, we want all kids to soar. So we work with the people who care for them — from families and neighbors, to schools and community agencies — to connect young people with the support they need.
Everyone should be able to make healthy choices for themselves and their families. But there can be lots of barriers in underserved communities. United Way’s partnerships with local groups expand access to nutritious food and quality health care, education and services.
United Way believes every community deserves to prosper. We work with our neighbors to build resilient communities that are more connected, supportive and ready to respond to any challenge.
